Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Maybe you could place food materials by a GUI of the cauldron.

I think this is a fantastic addition that would make cauldrons more useful. Multiple ingredients could be used rather than just the generic items. For example, mushrooms and rabbit could be added to make a stew. The more ingredients could be more health points. If nutrition is added, the different ingredients could satisfy different needs

After the announcement of 1.20 for the next official minecraft update whom seems to be prioritizing self-expression, representation, and storytelling, I think this idea would help with players expressing themselves through their culture and gameplay understanding.

You know what's cool about cooking? It's everywhere, there's different methods to do it, and almost every culture on this planet has some form of aspect to it. Currently, minecraft has five different means to prepare food which is by a furnace to cook a stack, a smoker to cook a stack faster, shooting a flamed arrow to cook food instantly, crafting 3 or 4 items in a crafting bench to make something more grainy, and the most interesting one, a campfire which can cook up to 6 different things at once, if applicable. However, this new form of expression would make for a great addition to the game.

With the use of a caldroun, filled with either a bucket of water or milk, on top of a heat source like fire or lava, you can make your own soups! Add steak? Add carrots? Add mushrooms? Add potion effects by adding their respective potion? You name it!

Oh, and also make identical soups stackable like they did with buckets.
