Bone Handles

In the real world, ancient people used to use bones and other primitive materials to create their tool handles, as some of them had a shape which their hands fit pretty well. The reason I am telling you this is because I believe that it would be a cool touch to Minecraft if you could replace sticks with bones throughout your journey, either to just make the weapon look cooler or even possibly give a slight buff like slightly more durability if you have a bone-handle tool/sword/bow. These could maybe even be exclusively obtainable by villagers who have travelled far and wide to find these tools, which would also make villagers more valuable (what about that green villager who has been useless since 1.11?)

    But seriously, Being useless is the Green villager's thing. It's called the nitwit for a reason. It does absolutely nothing to help you in any shape way or form.

    But other than that, bone handles are an interesting idea. Multiple recipes for essentially the same item isn't a new concept either. You have the torches for instance, using charcoal or coal. But this could actually be useful, giving you access to an above average item.

    You know what, I like it. It actually seems vanilla friendly. You have my vote! Good luck!

    I like the idea of using bones as an alternative to sticks, it would add a possible way to survive without wood, (ie. tundra, frozen ocean, ice spikes, etc.) as you could craft your tools from bone... except you don't have a crafting table...
