Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Bookmarks

Flipping though pages of a book can sometimes be frustrating when you can’t find what you wrote down so adding a bookmark feature would be an easy way to label the chapters of a book you wrote. It would cost anything to add one and the max amount of bookmarks would be five. This feature could really keep you’re adventure logs or important information organized.

    There can also be different coloured bookmarks, using a dye or wool. Also, if a book that has been bookmarked is on a lectern, everytime that book is opened, it should go to the bookmarked page (first bookmark first). And maybe it can have a visual aspect like an actual book mark (some type of texture, maybe wool, going through the book when it is on a lectern)

    Bookmarks could be done similar to banners, in which you could design your bookmark with a preset of colors and patterns (Using existing banner patterns would be cool) on the fletching table. 
    Adds a lot of creativity to books, and I think that would fit well into the 1.20 theme of self expression.

    On top of that, it would give another use to the loom, which is always nice.

    To add a bookmark to a book, you could simply craft them together in a shapeless recipe.
