Maybe just adding ink to an awkward potion.

They could be created very plentifully, but they don’t really do any harm.

Maybe using a 'golden' ink sac like the golden carrots/glistening melon.

A golden ink sac makes no sense.

This is a good idea, and I like the recipe Claysoldier007 proposed, because it makes sense to "revert" a potion that gives you better sight to get blindness.

Maybe my new metal in my post, https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/360043604172--Nether-Metal-Dark-Iron-Reaper-Ingots, could be combined with an ink sac to create a blindness potion.

I originally had this idea before this website became a thing and was gonna add it to my future mod ideas. I thought it could never be added. Well done Claysoldier007!

maybe fermented spider eye on night vision

Ink sacs make perfect sense for a blindness ingredient. But just to contrast with the night vision - invisibility potions, we should make it so that the blindness potion is changed into a glowing potion if a fermented spider eye is added. Or you know, we could make it so night vision potions are brewed into blindness ones, and invisibility potions into glowing ones.

At any rate I feel this is something that could easily be altered.

Use a fermented spider eye. Its purpose is to reverse potion effects.

I think that blindness could be created with the azure bluet flower since its the mysterious stew that causes blindness. It could also be used to make a spectral potion with a warped fungus which makes the user get highlighted.

You should have to make a night vision potion and then add an ink sac

I have made a series of comments on how this could be implemented if you would like to check it out; they are on this post:
