Nether Infuser, needs energy from lava (you must fill it with lava instead of blaze powder like in a regular brewing stand)
Allow you to overkill potions. You can't craft this artefact but find it in nether ruins (a new structure at the bottom of lava lake, or in middle of it, roughly hidden).
Input: up to 3 regular potions and 1 ingredient
The ingredient needed to overkill potions depends on the type of these:
- Elemental potions (or mundane?): Turned into overpowered elemental potion with Heart of the see (maybe a more common item)
- Fire potions: (or thick ?)Turned into overpowered Fire potion with wither head (or nether star ?)
- Witch potions (or akward ?): Turned into overpowered Witch potions with a new rare item you can find in Witch hut
Duration of an overkilled effect
The overkilled potion effect never desappears BUT, the drawback is huge, you can't sleep anymore as long as you have the overkilled potion effect.
It's possible to cancel this effect by drinking a bottle of milk (new item) or dying.
An opponent can try to throw a bottle of milk, there is a chance to cancel potion effects.
Overkilled lingering potion
The effect never disapears until a bottle of milk is thrown on it (a little bit overkilled isn't it ?)

Some changes with potions, to fit the upper part, with new ingredients:
Potions are splited into 3 categories, that are based on 3 different bottles:
Elemental potions: Positive effects with pure ingredients, taken from nature abilities, given by creatures or vegetals
Bottle base: Water
Overkill ingredient: Heart of the see
+ Spider eye: Night vision
-> Overkill: Same with permanent effect, I don't see anything else
+ Phantom Membrane: Slow falling -> Overkill: Potion of levitation (same than in creative mode)
+ Rabbit's foot : Leaping
-> Overkill: Allow you to jump at least 5 blocks
+ Sugar : Swiftness -> Overkill: +100% speed
+ Puffer fish : Respiration
-> Overkill: Same with permanent effect, I don't see anything else
+ Turtle shell: Turtle Master
-> Overkill: ?
Fire potions: Stamina and strengh from nether. As an additional effect, your body is a source of light
Bottle base: lava
overkill ingredient: Wither head or nether star ?
+ Magma cream : fire resistance
-> Overkill: permanent fire resistance
+ Blaze powder : Strengh
-> Overkill: Strengh +6hearts as permanent effect
+ Ghast tears : Regeneration
-> Overkill: A permanent Regeneration
Witch potions: life and death supernatural effects from Witch ingredient combinations
Bottle base: Milk (not sure about that, milk have already utility, maybe find another substance)
Overkill ingredient: Witch Head (or a rare ingredient you can find in Witch hut)
+ Glistering Melon: Healing
-> Overkill: you recover all your life and give absorption III
+ Fermented Feather : Slowness
-> Overkill: you are very very slow
+ Fermented Poizonous potatoe: Poison
-> Overkill: a permanent poison effect
+ Fermented spider eye : Weakness -> Overkill: You won't hurt anyone...
+ Fermented cave spider eye : Harming
-> Overkill: One shot any creature, except boss of course
+ Golden carrot : Invisibility
-> Overkill: Permanent effect and that's all ?
To summerize the new stuff here:
Caldron can be filled with water, lava or milk.
From this step you obtain water, fire or milk bottle.
From this step using nether wart in a brewing stand give you mundane(or elemental?), thick(or fire?) or akward(or witch?) potion
From these potion bases you can craft regular potions, with redstone or glowstone to enhance it as today
Using these potions into an infuser give you overkilled versions of potions put inside, if you use the appropriate ingredient
And:
Witches should be able to rarely throw bottles of milk to have a chance to cancel potion effects
The hardest thing to accept here: this system destroy the possibility to reverse potion effects with fermented spider eyes

In my opinion potions are a little bit messy. I would like to give my vision here, to enhance potion experience and usefulness and bring more fun.
