Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

More uses for splash water bottle

there exists an item in the game: the splash water bottle. I know it can be use to put off fire (even in the nether).

I think it'll be interesting when we throw a splash water bottle into a concrete powder, it will convert the powders into concrete blocks.

or maybe we could make it do more fun things. one such example could be: you throw a splash water bottle at yourself, then within a short period of time you could ride a riptide trident. wouldn't that be cool?

    these are some neat ideas. while testing splash water on my own i noticed that it doesnt seem to do damage to magma cubes or blazes, which i think it should do. I also think it should remove the fire status from the player, or from other players that are on fire

    Besides for nether mobs and endermrn they should also damage snow golem, make bees return to there hives, activate conduit powers if it's near by, put out players/mobs that are on fire (as others have suggest), possibly add a layer to a cauldron, pretty much anything rain can do.

    When you are in a hot biome for about 5 minutes (nether included), you will slowly lose health and the corners of the screen will turn orange (similar to powdered snow effect).

    Drinking a water bottle will remove any burning effect, put out fire and give more time until you heat up again.

    Water bottles stack to 2
    Splash water bottles put out fire within a 5 block radius.

    Splash water bottles damage nether mobs, endermen, snow golem, make bees return to their hive, activate nearby conduits, put out fire on players/mobs, scare cats and “defuse” creepers during the exploding animation, meaning they won't explode for 12 seconds

    A player could stand inside a Lingering Water Bottle and use the Riptide strike.
