Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Shelf Fungus

To me, the random patches of mushrooms are fun to come across because they sort of make it feel like the player is foraging for food in the wilderness. So I have another fungal item to suggest that would invoke this same feeling!

Shelf Fungus

This block generates on the sides of trees, and fallen trees in the case of Bedrock Edition. Shelf Fungus can be used to replace one of the two mushrooms in the recipe for Mushroom Stew, and it can also be used as a fuel source which lasts for the duration of cooking/smelting one item!

    Maybe brown and red mushrooms make brown and red shelf fungus when places on the side of a block.  Coral would definitely not cut it for this kind of thing.

    Great idea!  However, I think 3 shelf fungi of different sizes should spawn instead of only 1.  One Shelf Fungus looks kind of strange, and you usually don't see them alone in real life.

    Your idea is great, but like I saw in another comment (February 11th 2019 21:41) there should be multiple compiled, and the shelves, as seen in a lot of real shelf mushrooms, should be orange and baige.
