Experience points revamp

I think that the experience points are underused. Yes they are used for enchanting but I think that it could be better. For example and a option to upgrade a state such as heart regeneration or adding health or increasing melee damage etc. And when you die you lose all your upgrades as a punishment. And you can still use experience for enchanting but now once you have everything enchanted you can go after extra skill boosts. Just food for thought

    This is a cool idea but I think it would make Minecraft a bit too much like an RPG and that's not really what the game's meant to be in my opinion

    its just not minecraft. You could create something like this with commandblocks
