Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Crafting tables, anviles and enchanting tables can hold items

I know the most irritating thing in Minecraft is when you're crafting and suddenly forgot to bring a certain Item, so you undo everything, grab the item, restart the crafting (same goes for anvil and enchanting table), It would be a huge game changer if thous blocks can actually keep items in them.

    For me, it's six of one, half a dozen of the other.  It can also be really convenient to just be able to close the GUI and have the items automatically go back into my inventory.  I think I might even miss that feature more than I would appreciate the fact that they could hold their items.

    I don't want to make another topic, so I'll write it here. It would be nice if enchanting table could store lapis just like brewing table can hold blaze powder. Only lapis, enchanted (or not) items should return to player inventory after enchanting.

    I'd add this only for the lapis in the enchanting table though. Like how the brewing stand keeps the items. Crafting table and anvil doesn't really make sense...
