Stalactites and stalagmites should grow only in these caves. Because it's bizarre to see them on regular stone, they don't fit, it's almost if someone stuck them to the ceiling and the floor…

You shouldn't need silk touch, it is easy to break, but i believe it's structure is uniform enough that it wouldn't just crumble. It should probably form like granite, andesite, or diorite, but more common, and in larger amounts. probably about half to 70% of the stone would be lime from about 35 to 55.

Along with limestone, marble should be added. Limestone could be smelted into marble, and marble could be smelted again to get calcite. This recipe makes sense because calcite crystals form in limestone subjected to high temperatures. Limestone and marble would be great for building and terraforming. They could also be used in an update to the underground, such as limestone caves with patches of calcite and marble. Pointed limestone could also be found in the limestone caves, along with lichen, dripleaf, glow vines, and vines, or perhaps a new plant.

Limestone bricks would be a good idea too. Trying to build a French Chateau/European building just doesn’t look right with regular stone/stone bricks, sandstone is too light, stripped wood is wood not stone, and end stone is too yellow. Slabs, stairs, and wall variants would be nice too
