Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Adding a fast furnace

The furnace would have to be hard to acquire but could help with a lot of building projects. Maybe oil gysers could spawn in deserts and you would have to pipe the oil into a generator that powers the furnace. I know some people might not like adding an industrial aspect to Minecraft so maybe you could disable the spawning of oil and the related items in settings.

    This is minecraft, there need to be a oil pools under ground.  But a redstone pump wheel will work and you make iron drums and leave them in the pump.  It fills them up over time and the drums are used to power the furnace.
