I am sorry, but this would be an immensely unpopular change. People trying to complete large-scale building projects, for example, have a hard enough time carrying around all their building blocks, stairs, and slabs, food, tools, and other equipment all at once. But adding slowness on top of that? Not a good idea.

This would be realistic, but the inventory is already too small.  This would make the effective inventory space even smaller.

Think about it.  I don't believe the inventory has increased in size since the game was released.  But when the game was released, there were far fewer items available than there are today.  At this point, it can be very difficult to manage your inventory when building with a decently complex palette.  Your suggestion would make it so anyone who wants to be able to move at speed would have to treat their inventory as if they had even fewer spots than it already does.

You couldn't even carry one block of wool in real life, and that's about the lightest block I can think of, so I don't think this is a very good idea.

if you had 1 block of wool it would be 1,314 kilograms.Or over 2500 lbs, or 1 ton
