Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Terracotta tiles

Terracotta tiles would be a cool addition as a colorful block with a nice texture, im thinking some type of pattern like a purpur block but you can have it in all the terracotta colors! you could probably craft it by placing 4 terracotta blocks of the same color in the crafting grid making 4 terracotta tiles. i think we need some colored blocks that are alot less plain

    This or a texture like stone bricks in the terracotta colors.  EIther way, I absolutely agree that we need another form of terracotta for building, especially if it involves slabs and stairs.

    I absolutely agree my Japanese buildings need green roof tiles. And my Roman forts need red roof tiles! And maybe an additional ridge roofing tile. Cool!

    Or the skin that deepslate tiles use! I would love to see this kind of pattern in terracotta, would make the best roofs
