Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Minecarts in lava

Minecarts should float in lava, and the player should be able sit in it without taking damage, and should be able to paddle with an iron shovel.  Similar to a boat, but for lava.

    I think this is a good idea, however the metal would melt and you would be burned having touched it. I think minecarts should slowly take damage/melt and lessen damage taken by the player. As for floating, lava has a high density and high consistency so it would probably actually sink kind of like quicksand or the terminator in that lava scene.

    I feel like it should slowly start sinking since it isn't entirely lava proof.

    This should not work in the nether to balance striders.
