Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Radio Block and Speaker Block.

My idea is for a radio block to be added to minecraft that could be used to listen to music that the player might have on his device or could use music videos from youtube to listen to music (or music made by the minecraft team). The radio block could also be connected to speaker blocks by redstone (or a wire item if redstone doesn't work) so you could listen to the music in different locations at once. I believe adding this block could add a lot of creative possibilities to builders by giving the ability to add music to restaurants, shops, beaches, zoos, and aquariums, and could be a good alternative to ambient sounds in minecraft. giving the players the ability to add music or ambient sounds to there builds could give great atmosphere to there creations, (as an example, I have recently made a boardwalk in my minecraft world and I feel that it's missing beach music to really give it the atmosphere I want)

    It's a good idea, exept for one thing -- this is already possible. The music inside each music disc is saved inside a folder in your minecraft folder; all you have to do is change this music. Then you can use the command: /playsound minecraft:music_disc<disc name> player @a. This command will play the strad music disc to all players, regardless of where they are. It's a command I find myself using quite often. Thank you for the ffedback, however!

    I think it would be good for the music to play in Just one large location that could be looped in that one area, as an example: you could make a carnival area and be able to hear carnival music just in the carnival, or you could make an aquarium and have aquarium themed music that can only be heard in the aquarium. (also I use bedrock audition on the switch so i don't really have access to commands)

    one more thing, a lot of times I will use youtube on my phone as I play minecraft to listen to themed music that goes with whatever is happening in the game and I think it would be a great idea to be able to do it in game, also it would allow other players to here the themed music as well (if there in range of the speaker blocks).

    Maybe the radio block could have access to all the different songs/music that are in the game, like the music from the main game, the mini games from console edition and all the music from the mash-up packs (of course the music from the super mario mash-up pack would only be usable on switch when not on cross console mode, but it would definitely help make my SM64 recreation better by having the right music play in the correct areas)

    I came up with a recipe for the Speaker Block. 1 Note Block being surrounded with 8 Iron Nuggets. Also it should be made to where the Speaker Block can also amplify the sound of the music depending on how many are connected to the Radio Block or the Jukebox.
