Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

cat tails and tall grass in swamp ponds/lakes

these plants would generate in small groups on the edges of swamp ponds/lakes and would be partially submerged. it would be a great addition to the swamps as now it is really plain, just patches of green water, land trees and lillies.

    Here is a texture I made to demonstrate what the cattails could look like as a block in-game.


    I also think the cattails could have a nice swaying animation, since they're partially in the water.

    Perhaps if this does make it to game, the head could make something like cotton, but can be used as a seed so you could farm them, as well it could be converted to string perhaps, and the stock could be edible, due to the fact that they are a well known edible plant irl

    Cattails are used as food and medicine would love to see this in minecraft especially if we could plant them on a block just under the water and they would grow to around 2 two blocks taller than the water giving the biome more of a swamp feel
