Hi there, This feedback is incomplete and not really useable by our team in its current form. Can you explain what you're looking for?

"Too complex" is highly subjective, and as such, not exactly useful without specific details.

Thanks, it will help us express your idea to the team in an actionable way.

The least you could do is say the specific things you don't like.  Even if this was something they wanted to do (because seriously?!!) they wouldn't be able to know what you liked and didn't like.

Because MacchuPicchu is right, if you liked the older Minecraft, why did you update?

What I mean by this is that the game is getting more and more complex which surprisingly can make a game more boring and less of itself. Lets look at the game Agar.io. Most of us know of this game as it was extremely popular back in 2015 and 2016. I'm mentioning this game because it died because it changed too drastically from what it originally was. Search up old Agar.io, then search up new Agar.io and you will see what I mean by "how it drastically changed". Then look at how Minecraft changed from what it originally was. Then you will see what i mean by how complexity changed the game too much to the point that it wasn't the same Minecraft anymore.

I completely disagree, I love the new content and would get bored with the old game pretty fast. Back in my Pocket Edition days, it would take me a few weeks to own everything in the entire game. That's no longer possible.

Either way, there is no way the devs will take you seriously. Their vision for Minecraft is to make a game that is rich and deep and complex and worthy of being the second best-selling video game of all time. The old days had their charm, but these days Minecraft is objectively a better game. I honestly think you're experiencing nostalgia more than anything else.

Steve Block, this game has not "died". It has decreased in popularity since its heyday, but that's to be expected for a game that is almost ten years old, and is not a sign that the game is somehow bad now. Those of us still here quite enjoy all of the new content. Exactly what is it that you expect the devs to do for you?

MacchuPicchu is right. Minecraft better than it ever was. When I first got it, you couldn’t go to the nether, the end or even use redstone. But now we have all of that and a lot more better things, and you still haven’t explained what is so “complex” about minecraft. And even so, I doubt the developers would change it.

If you want classic Minecraft, just go ahead and play an older version. And if you wanted this in the first place, why did you update?

If you play Java, Minecraft has an application where you can play Minecraft back in 2009. Also, if we were to remove the complex updates, it actually makes the game less fun, because we have a lesser amount of variety.

    Yes, because change is terrible.
