Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Black and white sand

The beaches we have in Minecraft are a little plain. We need to make them look nice! Black sand is generally on beaches near volcanos. Maybe black sand could be formed when it has been touched by lava or placed on a magma block. White sand beaches would be there own biome, so I’ll post that topic there. Minecraft’s beaches should look really nice in an aesthetic way. Adding more kinds of sand would be amazing!

    Different colors of natural sand would be nice.  We already have two in the game.

    However, with Concrete Powder having the same texture ... then black sand will just look like black concrete powder.

    Came here to suggest black sand.  White sand would be nice too.

     

    Problem with using concrete powder as sand is that you can't place it next to water because it will turn to solid concrete.
