Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Red-tinted Wood Blocks

Additional Trees to Minecraft work best when they provide a function or variation we don't already have. 

One variation we don't have is a red-tinted plank.  We have white, dark brown, neutral brown, and orange planks, but the world of wood also has a whole section for red-tinted wood.

This could be accomplished by adding any of the following trees: Cherry Blossom Tree, Rosewood Tree, Mahogany Tree, Redwood Tree, or a Dragon's Blood Tree. 

All are wonderful trees and one of them could provide a great purpose in Minecraft.

    I'd rather see wood blocks expand with natural wood colors.  There are many more natural wood colors out there than just the ones we have currently in Minecraft.

    Also, I love trees:  So that's another benefit. :)  We'd get more trees.

    What we have now : creamy white, Pinkish orange, orange, Light yellowish-brown, Silk brown, Dark Brown, Turqoise, Magenta

    Coming soon ( i hope ) : redish brown, Greeny grey, Light grey

    This already exists via mangrove planks.
