More uses for Clocks and Compasses.

When holding a clock...

It displays the current game ticks.

  • Example = (Gametime is 1574)

It displays the day number.

  • Example = (Day is 2)

 

Both are shown on the top left corner of the screen, and in the Overworld.

 

When holding a compass...

It displays the coordinates of "World Spawn".

  • (if the player hasn't slept on a bed)

It displays the coordinates of the respawning point.

  • (if the player has slept on a bed)

    This is an awesome idea and would give some use to clocks and compasses as now they aren't really used much

    It would be useful if there was another line on the HUD that showed the game time.  If the time span from dawn to dawn is a set time in real time, it would be nice to have the game time shown on the clock with certain times set for dawn and dusk.  This is useful when you're indoors or underground and do not or cannot tell what time it is.  One could carry a clock, but this would be useful as is the current coordinates are.

    It would be nice to know how far from the spawn/respawn point is from the current coordinates on the HUD.  Or just the coordinates of where your next spawn point is (world or last bed).

    Clocks should also tell you when it's time to sleep. 

    It would be cool if you can make a large clock, similar to framing multiple maps, for decoration in a town. Like a clock tower.

    i think your coordinates should you be able to se by holding a compas insted of F3
