The update aquatic adds the ability to carve pumpkins and strip logs, but what if we combined the two and we could carve planks. Each plank would have its own design, and could each be used in different creative ways.
Obtaining
In order to obtain a carved plank, you first need to pick a plank of your choice whether that be oak, birch, jungle, etc. Next, you need to right-click that plank with an axe, and then you have your carved plank.
Designs
Each carved plank would have its own design, here are my thoughts on what the designs should be.
Oak: The carved oak planks would have a circle-ish feel to it making it look more round than flat.
Birch: The carved birch planks would have the same design as the new turtle mob's shell pattern.
Spruce: The carved spruce planks would have the design of prismarine but as spruce wood.
Jungle: The carved jungle planks would have the imprint of a slime on it.
Acacia: The carved acacia planks would have a texture similar to the top of a purpur pillar, but as acacia wood.
Dark Oak: The carved dark oak planks would have the face of a creeper imprinted onto it.
Benefits
These blocks would be nice decoration blocks and could open a whole new door of creativity.
