Horizontal Fences

Have A horizontal fence that doesnt connect to anything above it or below it.Why I think this would be good? Well... It would be great for making your own custom fences as well as being used as pipes and other sorts of round cylindrical things...

    I thought of that a lot of times and it would be very very useful as a beam in many buildings. I also think that an iron bar-like one is needed, perhaps a bit thicker.

    I’d say something like ‘Rods’ which can be placed in any orientation and act like End Rods. All varieties of fence, wall and iron bars should have this option. They would look like a wall or fence post but they can go any way around and would not connect up to each other like fences and walls. They do connect like fences to solid blocks if placed parallel to the block it is attached to. For example, if I place it running up and down but against a block in the air, because its only supporting block is the one beside it, it attaches. If the was a block above or below than it would not attach. It attaches if the only blocks beside it are against its long face.

    I could see many uses for this as well as sideways walls, especially if they do not connect when sideways, I often use a wall and a few fence posts for lamp posts and when building a construction site would be great to be able to place the lampposts sideways like on pallets.

    I was thinking of something like this too, it would be grate for making tiny trees or perches for pet birds.

    They should be placed like End Rods and logs are, but in addition the horizontal fences should connect to vertical fences if they are next to each other, making corners/intersections in the fence ┓┨╋ ┳ ┗

    it would be great for small details

    Yes and walls should do this to, the name could be beams. For example Oak wood beam, Granite beam, etc.

    This would be amazing for things like cattle grids, railings and creative things like that. There could also be horizontal walls alongside this.
