what the core dimension could be a 4th wall break where physics are more realistic, the humans that was removed could be re textured and remade for this dimension and could act like npc's and when right clicked on will start talking to you. how to get to this dimension is the tricky part. you need to make a computer capable of making portals to other dimensions. how to obtain the computer you need 2 red stone dust 1 red stone dust and 3 gears and 3 iron blocks. making the gear is easy just have 4 iron ingots and put it in a diamond formation. the core dimension can be filled with city's as well as shops. the shops could have a npc to sell you stuff with money. this means you can use the resources you found back in the over world as money, but you need to convert them. all you need to do to convert your resources is to finding a bank and trade them in.
