Remove all tag from an entity

I'm trying to reset entity tag but the tag command doesn't want to

The "/tag @e remove" command only want to remove one tag

The entity though is still easy using "/execute as @e run data merge entity @s {Tags:[]}"

But since the player nbt can't be changed through Minecraft command there is no way to remove all tag from a player using Minecraft command

I hope there is an efficient way to remove all tag in an entity especially using only one command

  Good idea! I was thinking somthing like /tag @p remove

  Unfortunately, /tag @p remove already exists. If we were to make this, it would have to be different. I suggest /tag @p clear.

  I didn't think that the problem is solved until now. So my idea is that you could just use the * expression like you can in the scoreboard command to remove all tags of an entity.
