Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Gas in caves (was: GASY CAVES)

Down deep inside caves , gas pokets , some mine shafst you can find two tipes of minecraft gases :

WITHER gas : Rare , gets leaked by the wither during the batle.Withers all living mobs in side of it.

Poison gas : Comon gas . Poisons all mobs in side of even the ded .You can find it in swamps .

Gas mask : lether helmet + 1 soulsand.

    Maybe pyrous gas(pyro as in fire) could be added and anything inside gets burn damage

    I think gases could, rather than being a new fluid type like water or lava, simply be a lingering potion effect that spawns on chance of mining coal.

    I like the idea and the gas mask thing. I went ahead and tried to make a texture for them.

    I think one way that can replace the use of gas masks, which are very modern for the game, is the use of incense sticks. They could be manufactured using flowers and sticks, by placing them on the floor, they could neutralize hostile gases with their aroma, in addition to serving as lanterns, since they would need to be accessed. They could have a recharge system, as they would only burn for a few moments and then the player should replenish with more flowers.

    The wither gas doesn't make any sense to me however the poison gas/gasmask idea sounds viable, perhaps you should add some glass into the gas mask recipe.
