Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

They should also make it to where you can use nether bricks to craft a nether brick flower pot as well. Have instead of the default pot texture have it look more like netherbrick. Would use the same crafting recipe just different bricks and gives the nether brick another use then just being made into nether brick blocks.

They should all look the same color as clay.

Being able to make a pot out of glazed terracotta as well as dyed terracotta would be the coupe de gras!!!

This is even more relevant after the announcement of custom pots. In addition to ancient relics used for pot decoration, pots could also be dyed (though probably not together). There would be an option, such as choosing between a pot with pictures, or a pot with color.

Pots are quite a non-standard block, so colorful variants can be useful for fancy buildings.

I agree, it should be dyable with raw copper like ancient humans did with malachite and azurite. In fact, it is quite possibly how the metal was discovered when it was heated.

I know this is an old one, but I think this is something that should be added. Sure the pots occasionally change color when you stick a flower into them, but why not have the option to combine a pot with a dye to make it the color you want? I'd love to make some purple pots for my flower displays, or a black pot for a nether rose. Coordinate pots with flower colors, and make a rainbow of a greenhouse :)

It actually WOULD be a massive contribution. I can't place mushrooms on skulk or alot of other plants, (silly considering its mined with hoe) this means I can't do a warped plant room with a skulk floor. I am also not trying to sandwich a terracotta colored pot between a blue plant and a black and blue floor. WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO DYE POTS!!!

They should change the recipe for dyed terracotta to be dyed clay balls. From the dyed clay balls you make the dyed terracotta, dyed flower pots, and now dyed decorated pots.
