Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Useful Rotten Flesh

 When was the last time you put rotten flesh in your chest and thought' "I intend to use this later."? Rotten flesh is only used for a few things. It can be used for: eating (if  you're desperate, healing dogs, and that's just about it. Why not make it useful? If you could smelt it into leather, there would be a reason to keep it in your chests.

    I save rotten flesh for later a lot.  Once, I went through 3 full stacks of it when I didn’t have any other food.

    Composter block was added in 1.14, yet rotten flesh doesnt work for it. that was an easy fix that was missed in the update.

    There should be something to turn rotten flesh into food such as human flesh but when you eat it, you get nauseous for 10 seconds.

    Maybe when we smelt the rotten flesh, it don't take a leather but it take a Cooked Rotten Flesh and it's look like rotten flesh but it has an 30% chance of inflicting food poisoning for 15 seconds. It's very useful when you mine a long, long time and you have more food on you. True Story ;D

    What if having rotten flesh on you (the player) it kept a certain mob away from you, but increased the zombie spawn rate by 1%. This way it would seem like zombies were attracted to the flesh?

    I thought the same as fastluc, but with a difference, what if equipping the rotten meat serves as camouflage and drives away the zombies, but at the same time makes the player dizzy, In the sense of how disgusting and smelly rotten meat is? It would be curious and it would help us in a way.

    It does have a use: trading. 32 for 1 emerald if you go to the villager with rhe brewing stand

    Noxious Fire & Flesh Block:

    A new use for rotten flesh, the flesh block! When lit ablaze the flesh block gives off a noxious fire that glows an ominous green color. The fire also produces a gas smoke! When non-undead mobs and the player are in the fire it causes them damage and a short lasting poison effect.
