Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Graves

Whenever you die, a grave spawns in with your username and carries all your stuff, so you'll need to bring a pickaxe and mine the grave to collect your stuff.

    Graves would be extremely convenient, and I would love it if they were in the game.  But I'm also the kind of player who turns keep inventory on.  I'm pretty sure the kind of player that likes the challenge of the game would not vote for this idea...

    I love making Graves for my worlds, to show who dies and how. Yet you cant make them naturally. I love the difficulty of the game, and NEVER enable host priviledges, such as "keep inventory". If Graves were added, the could be made un-stackable and carry the gamertags even if collected.

    Also they could be made craftable, if you happen to die in lava.

    Also some gloomy items would be nice, so I could actually make my graveyards look spooky

    I like the idea, but what about death at sea, in the nether/end? At sea, maybe a chest on the sea floor below?

    Death in larva would continue to destroy all your stuff...

    there should be a grave stone with your stuff behind it in a chest if you die near a village. The village should have a grave yard

    Maybe to solve the problem with lava it spawns a block above the lava with your grave on it so you still have to work to get it. When your underwater and die same thing but only if your not by the bottom of the sea, so a block renders were you die and places a grave on top so you can still get at your stuff but have to work for it.

    It could be an (craftable, maybe expensive) item that you would have in your inventory and of you died, it would collect all your stuff and place a block or entity on the ground. This grave could be accessed only by the person who died and it could be destroyed by another player. It would despawn if left for some time (longer than usual item despawning time).

    I think this would be an additional settings in keep inventory so you would keep the no/yes keep inventory but have this as a middle ground

    I like this. It has flavor and cute in the way Minecraft already is. [I'm a Bedrock user. Mods mean nothing to me.]

    I was hoping for a coffin and headstones and bones addition... like for Halloween...

    Still, if a challenge was added to replace the despawn timer (maybe a reaper you had to fight for your stuff back), I'd probably like this. 

    Or a totem similar to totem of undying that dropped a coffin when you died.

    I think graves should be obtained from the Ancient City and be craftable using echo shards, since echo shards are used to make recovery compasses, which would useful alongside graves. Echo shards could be used to craft a special item, which as long as it's in a player's inventory, would summon a grave upon death. This special item would disappear when used, but could be duplicatable using sculk, instead of other echo shards.

    Since recovery compasses would be useful with graves, I think right clicking with one on the special item should ensure the recovery compass always points to its grave until it is destroyed. This would prevent a recovery compass from changing its direction in case a player were to die while trying to reach their grave and would prefer if the recovery compass remains pointing toward it.
