earlier on the version minecraft 1.7.10 all the damaged things (for example 280: 1, stick with 1 damage) remained with their textures. After version 1.8, the same stick (280: 1) turns into an object without texture.
My question is why it is necessary? Objects like 280: 1 (stick with 1 damage) 318: 1 (flint with 1 damage) and "other" are NOT put textures from the texturepack, even if you write it in.JSON . New textures are placed only on hoes, picks, swords and similar things that preserve the texture.
So if you can not put a texture, then why should it disappear when damaged?
