    Please no....  I get that it's realistic, but it would also be a pain.  Especially if you accidentally fall a long distance, barely survive, are surrounded by mobs, AND you have slowness, nausea, weakness, and mining fatigue.  It turns that scary accidental fall while caving into a near-guaranteed death.

    I like the idea of a mild slowness but the rest is just too extreme.

    Just give the player a slowness effect when he takes 5 or more fall damage but then lower the amount of fall damage taken from heights to balance it out
