Be Able to Import Custom Resource Packs, Worlds, etc. on Bedrock Console Editions

With the Edge browser being able to download files on Xbox, a button to import stuff like that wouldn't be too hard for people to do. It would give the Bedrock Edition more access to worlds and Resource packs not from the store.

    If you could come up with a way for it to still work on mobile bedrock, and especially those that run on Apple products, I'm all for it.

    You're already able to download custom maps and resource packs on mobile devices, and have been able to for a while.

    I have been wanting this for a pretty long time. I play on the Switch but I think this is a function that should come with all Bedrock versions. I'm not sure how it could work but I was thinking maybe the player could somehow upload a pack/skin that will save to your Xbox Live Account. So when you're logged into that account on a console, you can download the pack/skin to your game.

    Sort of like how custom skins in Windows 10 Bedrock works? Where you have one free slot to upload a custom skin to. But instead of being saved to a single device, It's saved to your account so it could be accessed anywhere.

    Since the removal of the file explorer on xbox one, it's really hard to get custom worlds and resource packs

    Ye they need to have that. I have a pvp pack on mobile, but I want it on switch

    I make my own resource/Behavior back sometimes and other times download them from mcpedl and put them on my Realm just playing with them like that but then here's were i run into the problem with the resource pack I made myself you need to change your language (all the messages are stored in language files and I wanted to edit the death messages) will you can't change your language in game and if they cannot put the resource pack onto my switch (i use switch by the way) it is impossible for me to use what I've created this feature will let me use it for now I have to make the language English and just edit the English language already created

    It would be amazing if you could add access to importing custom resorce packs to global resource packs.

    If that happened, then little baby Microsoft wouldn't be able to milk all our money for packs we don't even like that much.

    It sucks not being bale to bring older builds from a world that I have had for a very long time into a new world. (Bedrock console) The builds were on a super flat when they could only be three blcoks deep. It sucks not being able to see all the hardwork of these builds in this old super flat live in another world. I would hope that I am not the only one in this position. Having this feature could vastly help players in adding new life to their current builds even without being on Java.

    A new preview came out, featuring a new render feature called « Deferred Technical Preview » available on Xbox, PC and Android phones, problem: A .mcpack using PBR textures is needed but we can’t import ressource pack on Xbox to try it out… (Series X)
