Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Double Jump Enchantment for Boots

An enchantment I think would add some fun to the game is an enchantment for boots that allows a player to jump again once while in the air. This could be helpful in gaining flight from ground level and even add to the Leaping effect.

    I'd love a mid-air jump. It would test my reflexes when I fall off a cliff or in lava. Not sure if it should be an enchantment.

    I think this is not a good idea.

    1. Jump potion performs the function of increasing the height of the jump
    2. You can be saved from the fall, which I think is cheating

    This is a very neat suggestion. I think that this would be a great addition! The amount of exclusive enchantments would be expanded as they are already quite low. Great suggestion!

    Someone said it should be more challenging, like making a turtle shell, and since it's about jumping, why not craft it with something from the rabbits?

    this is kind of dark, but since they have turtle helmets from turtle scutes, perhaps we make rabbit boots with 2 rabbit hide and 2 rabbit feet?it would either give the leaping potion effect or double jump, double jump preferably with particles, and would have the same durability and protection as leather boots.

    I like this idea, even though potion of leaping and jump boost exist, this provides a new and different way for high/additional jumping to be explored. pressing for a secondary jump has its own benifits

    Or mabey call it multijump. One extra jump per level. Have levels one and two on it available in survival.

    That is good idea but i think it will be OP if you consider this would be easy to avoid dead for falling from high if you using the second jump in the last second

    Actually  Bilbo Baggins that means Fire Protection enchantments and Feather Falling shouldn't be used if you apply that logic because those already have potions.

    How would this cooperate with the elytra? Seeing as double tapping space makes you take off, it would'nt work very well. I love the idea, but i'm not sure how it could work.

    I like this idea.

     

    It would make running around much easier, as you are no longer blocked by 2-high blocks.

    It would also add more diversity to armour sets in regards to utility vs combat.

    Features/enchantments, even like this are pretty cool even if I don't feel like they fit into the normal gameplay. I do however like making maps and having something like this in vanilla is pretty cool even if it were creative/cheated in only. There are already so many things that are cheat/creative mode only.

    Yes! Make it a chest-only find too. Any opportunity to encourage exploration I think is important.

    I agree with this suggestion. THOUGH, as I commented on the Auto smelt or smelting enchant, it should not be gain through enchanting tables. This should be something that is super rare, and or can only be found in end cities!
