There are no oasis in the game the desert is pretty plain and adding oasi would make it better including palms and bamboo.

  And a merage(idk how to spell) where the oasis has a percentage of being real, to make this easier the deserts could have a wavy effect on the terrain as you traverse it.

  I love the idea! Personally I think that they could also have their own mob, like a lizard that you can kill for a special item. I also think it would be cool if the trees at the oasis had fruits or something

  Maybe a pillager type mob can spawn there a with 2 or 3 structures so that you can barter with when you have the right equipment. Kinda like bartering with a piglin

  I cant help but think but desert wells maybe use this as a addition to it as it is the deserts water source maybe include those in some way

  I think some prickly pear (they would grow on cacti in x vicinity) and new animals such as iguanas and sloths would be a cool addition to the oasis.

  It would be great if the wild upuade added an oasis with new flowers and maybe a new fruit or something like that, but not just a puddle of water, but also several in the same place to maybe form a mini biome and so on.

  i think its a good idea, i thought it could be like the desert temples and it could have a hidden chest too. The rarity should be a little less than the water well and the size more or less that of the temple

  along with this update I could have the idea of the cactus fruit and the vulture, very good ideas too

  This should be something like the geode instead of an entire biome. Making it a biome may cause some technical issues seeing as it needs to be tiny so that what ever cool thing you can find there (just water and palm trees isn't that cool so please add more) is much more rare. Also oasis aren't big in real life. If you want it to be big it needs to be a river. In addition to that oasis are created by hotsprings so they will need Obsidian, or lava, or magma bocks, or all three at the bottom of a narrow pit in the middle. This can also replace desert wells unless they are going to have chests with loot.

  irl oasi are basically just holes of water in the desert. they should have green grass around them like in the jungle. this would make it a more ideal base location. it would make it so that every time i spawn into a desert i wouldn't just instantly delete the world.

  maybe desert villages would have a higher chance of generating near an oasis.

  This is such a great idea in my opinion, I have played Minecraft for seven years now and I always felt that the desert was quite empty. An Oasis could spice up the experience there.

  This is an amazing idea the desert is so boring it really needs more then just sand for ever. An oasis in the desert would be really nice!

  nelle acque delle oasi potrebbero esserci le meduse, dato che nuotano in acque calde le oasi sono delle piccole chiazze d'acqua chiuse,quindi potrebbero starci,e magari le meduse utilizzare un modo nuovo per ricavare pozioni di veleno,magari forti tipo prurito,e nelle palme mettere un nuovo cibo,le noci di cocco con le quali possiamo ricavare anche il latte di cocco

  Maybe you could find grassy sand or moss carpets in the oasis and coconuts growing off of the pine trees that you can put in a stonecutter to crack. When you eat the coconut it can restore 2.5 hunger points.

  The oasis should also have a rare chance of having healing water , and the only way you can drink some is with a bottle . Also , you can brew more healing water with using a bottle of healing water and normal bottles of water . Healing water can be used to heal your hearts completely, or if you sit in the oasis , your hearts will slowly but surely start to regenerate . It also will have a lingering effect for one Minecraft day , then it will wear off . Also , when it’s a full moon , if you drink healing water or sit in the oasis , it will add on more helpful buffs , the catch is you will only get one helpful buff that’s randomly chosen , and it will also wear off in one Minecraft day . If you try to scoop healing water with a bucket , it will just turn into normal water . But you can craft a bucket of healing water using one bucket of water surrounded by 8 bottles of healing water , but if you place the water and try to pick it back up , it will turn back into normal water . (Something extra that isn’t necessary, maybe you can perhaps add silk touch to a bucket in order to scoop the healing water without it turning into normal water) . All this would be a great little but significant touch to Minecraft . It’ll give the dessert more purpose than just sand temples , villages , and sand .

  Maybe oasis could replace the desert well? I think since desert biomes arent too large the oasis should also be very small. Maybe just one or two palm trees, some grass, and a water source. Perhaps their function is to indicate the presence of a new underground aquifer biome below them much like the azalea trees indicate lush caves.

  As such oasis can be limited to deserts and badlands

  Yeah this would fit really well into the planned garlands and desert update 😉
  Also the palm trees "wood" be a nice source of a new wood type and coconuts which could be used for recipes
  What recipes IDK but they better be cool Mojang

  Maybe also a merchant stand could generate there with a new villager type
  (Or a stationary wandering trader if u wanna be cheap like dat Mojang like the custom superflats on console)
