If you want to propose a change to an existing structure (like villages), or add something brand new in a current dimension or biome, this is the place.

mine shaft explosions

In mine shafts at dead ends, there should be a (small) patch of tnt with a lever that they were going to use before it was "abandoned".

    It would make it seem like the now missing miners were about to continue to mine out the shaft. A nice idea that makes the emptiness of the world seem even more mysterious (with the exception of villagers). Cool!

    That could be really dangerous if you accidentally set it off luckily I like danger.

    That would be sooooo awesome, just like a stack of TNT with an obvious redstone wire connected to a lever at the end of some deadends would actually be awesome.
