Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Um, there already are “redstone based trap.for players or mobs” which “damage or kill them.”  They are “useful for hunting.”  Again, most traps kill mobs entirely “(like rabbit)”

A simple trap is to dig a 1x1x1 hole in the ground, place TNT in the hole, and put a pressure plate on the TNT.  Dig the hole deeper for a guaranteed kill.

There are many variants of traps using redstone in Minecraft.  You could have players or mobs fall into lava, get shoved into a cactus, die by drowning, become trapped forever, or get hurt some other way.  Just customize your own.

I don't think that it should use redstone but rather it should be a pressure plate with two sticks by either side and iron ingots on top of the sticks. If you put a vine over the pressure plate then it becomes a disguised trap
