Iron Trapdoor Recipe

Is anyone else annoyed that the Iron Trapdoor recipe isn't consistent with the Wooden Trapdoor recipes?

    Yes, I would approve of complete parity between the two recipes, where the iron trapdoor recipe requires six ingots and produces two trapdoors.

    So you are proposing that the iron trapdoor recipe require 6 iron ingots and yield 2 trapdoors, to mirror the wooden trapdoor recipe? If so, I approve. I love internal consistency in this game.

    I agree, and I accidentally made a duplicate post earlier with this picture. The only difference being that the recipe would craft 2 iron trapdoors instead of just one:
