Redstone on Walls/Wall placement (was: Placement)

I think you should Be able to place redstone on walls going up because it would make it a lot easier to use. And in real life, wires dont only go on floors, they go up walls.

    that is a really great idea and I really wish this would get added. My dad loves Minecraft and one of his most favorite things in the game is redstone contraptions! This addition would make things so much easier for both me and my dad to create some cool contraptions, and not just us, but the entirety of the Minecraft community!

    A red stone crafting recipe that would combine it with say copper, would add further use for the smithing table, and would create the opportunity to have not only vertical red stone, but even have red stone that doesn’t washout with water, and maybe even able to be waterlogged. Redstone players, builders, and mapmakers so by extension the adventure players all would benefit from this. Plus more uses for copper.

    Maybe mojang thought redstone dusts aren't able to be attached on the wall
    I think it is a good idea to combine copper ingot and redstone dust and craft a wall-climbing redstone wire

    Maybe introducing a wire item (f.e. crafting it with copper + redstone + rubber?/clay?/hide?) will solve the problem...

    This would be amazing because you can build super cool redstone that doesn’t require repeaters. Mojang if you make this this would be epic

    I think it should be something to craft, cuz its Redstone DUST so maybe like Redstone at the whole bottom and glass over it?

    This is a feature that is begging to be implemented! It would be nice to see redstone work like wiring does in real life.

    And to make like in real life, electric strings between pillars, redstone should be able to float in the air, but with the same system that scaffoldings, it must be connected to other redstone dust and after a few dust floating, you can't place floating redstone...

    We should have wires with wires you would add redstone at the end and it would take up one block so can be used for redstone lamps and unlock more control for displays because it would only activate a block so it would make displays more customizable

    I want cogs back in to the game ever since I heard about them they have always been my favorite block and I just don't like the fact that Minecraft removed them back in like 2009 or 2010 I wish they could be added back into the game maybe as a more expensive to craft Redstone variant that can be vertical it will change Minecraft and Redstone forever I dearly hope they add the cog back into the game I really think it will suit Minecraft very well like Mojang its not hard just add one singular item/block back its easy i really hope more people vote for this Minecraft Redstone would be more interesting if cogs were added once again if cogs get added I believe that Redstone will be more versatile better ways to make design on walls more cool Redstone builds plz add cogs back Mojang plz add them back plz!!!

    you guys do know that observer blocks do this right?

    observer facing redstone, then a ton of observers above it. once you activate the redstone, the observer detects it, then the observer above that one detects the observer detecting the redstone, and the one above does the same. all the way up, then at the top, have a redstone dust connected to the output and boom, virticle redstone

    Yeah. I liked it from the mod that had it in 1.12.2/ Unfortunately a lot of mods are now outdated and the creators are not returning plus left it on all rights reserved so you can't bring them back. Sigh.

    You could make it so you can use slimeblocks on the side of blocks to make that side sticky (Same texture as sticky piston). This could allow redstone to be placed on it and even adjacent blocks with a sticky side to stick together like slime blocks.
