Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Bed-sheets with banner designs

 Banners have been a great feature in Minecraft and recently will be linked with waypoints for remembering locations (amazing feature) - Beds introduced new colours not long ago making room designing even more enjoyable. Something else I'd love to see is combing both banner and bed into bed sheets giving players the ability to change what bed design you want e.g the golden apple style. This gives banners another refresh and beds even more exciting I did create a video showing also animal bed designs - [external link removed by admin]

    This would look cool and add another thing you can be completely unique with! You could be able to put the bed into the loom (a green bed instead a green banner) and use banner patterns on it? Or would you design it with a banner, like a shield? Overall great idea.

    The block entity data for a bed would be:

    banner_half: Determines which half of the banner is used for a bed.

    Also with banner data.

     

    Maybe the banner on a bed would allow up to 48 banner patterns on a bed.

    This is one of the best ideas and allows us to be more creative.

    Another way could be putting the bed into a loom like you do with a banner.

    Maybe certain designs could give certain effects? You need to use a diamond on the top half of bed for the status to work.

    Very rarely, one bed design of 1-6 banner patterns may spawn in a bonus chest.

    I feel like sleeping in a banner bed should heal you. You get 3 hearts when you sleep successfully.

    This is a great idea! But banners don't add much to the game, so this might not change the game much. But it would be a cool addition to the game, as banners seem to be a bit dull. A suggestion would be that to put the banner design on the bed, instead of crafting it with the bed, you right click the bed with a banner in your hand to place the design on the bed. I would love to see this in the game. I did, however, find a mod on Curseforge that does the same thing. But it would be nice to see it in the game, and not have to rely on mods to use banner-bed designs. All in all, I am super happy that this suggestion is under-review (I did vote for it by the way), and I can't wait to see in the game.
