A giant tower lurks over the snowy mountains. What could it be, a trap, or a new challenge? Abandoned and destroyed, this castle holds many secrets. Loot found beneath its floors. New monsters along with strays inhabit its walls. The player can rebuild this structure, or fight in its dungeons.

Interesting idea, maybe a bit like a jungle temple for snowy biomes, dungeon below ground with a few pillagers locked up for their crimes, the castle could be made by intelligent villagers and might contain a few, it could be the sort of thing a player could add to and transform into an amazing base, mojang love player creativity, this would inspire them and add to it
Pretty cool idea but mojang should also consider that the mobs should only spawn in those stated structures especially if its pretty op because it could be annoying if they can spawn everywhere like zombies
Ruined Structures come in 5 sizes, camp, tower, fort, keep, and castle. Ruined soldier variants of zombies and skeletons live in these places, travel in raiding parties, and don't burn in daylight. Raiding Parties set out from any ruined structure, the bigger the structure, the bigger the Raiding Party. Raiding Parties can set siege to Villages. Unless you have conquered and defeated a ruined structure, when you try to sleep in its vicinity a message will display saying: "You don't feel safe here" There will be Shattered Stone in the Ruined Structure. Shattered Stone breaks if you stand on it for too long.
Ruined Structures can upgrade to the next level structure with enough time and Ruined Soldiers. Camps are set up by Raiding Parties anywhere. Towers are set up when some Raiding Parties conquer a Pillager Outpost. Forts are set up when some Raiding Parties conquer a Village and have a miniboss called the Ruined Knight. Keeps have 1 dungeon layer with a Stone Golem miniboss and a Ruined King boss in the grand hall upstairs. Castles are just like keeps except they have an outer courtyard with a wall surrounding it. Castles also have a 2nd dungeon level where there is a Stone Monster Boss that can be awakened.
The first time you visit a Keep/Castle you will find the Ruined King in the Grand Hall. If you fight him and lose, the next time you arrive at the Keep/Castle there will be more Ruined Soldiers and you will have a high chance of meeting and fighting in an encounter.
I think it would be cool if all the mobs in the castle wore chainmail armor as if they are guards to the castle. I also like the idea that these castles could sorta be like a skeleton or stray version of villages and bastions, a sorta society that the mobs live in. I’m intrigued by having more structures that belong to certain enemy types and the lore implications of them having their own bases and homes is interesting to think about.
I think instead of new mobs in it, even on any difficulty there would be hardcore level mobs in it, enchantments, armor potion effects. this should be a real challenge. Maybe a new mob but idk. a new hostile mob added somewhere else in the game, if they add the lost and forgotten.
Everyone. It should be time to spam alternate accounts. We need this in. If you hear me, and truly want this amazing structure to be a part of the game(making mountains better, too), than get your alternate accounts ready, and vote for this! It would HAVE to get in the game after a while! Who would say no to 10,000+ votes? Anyways, I think this would be a GREAT idea! It could also give the Iceologer another chance! And I've seen comments on this being able to add more of a Dungeon-type genre to the game, adding for more adventures and secrets! I'd love to see what Mojang could do with this! Halls could have certain traps, like the classic lava drop trap, execued with tripwire, there could be a tripwire that causes a whole bunh of gravel to fall, too! Another cool trap is when you open a trapped chest, and fall in lava! I've also seen one in a Medieval Fortress book, where there's pressure plates all over, and when you step on them arrows will shoot from a bunch of dispensers on the walls! This could be VERY interesting!
seria bueno que coloquen mas estructura como por ejemplo la cabaña del warden, en mi opinión estaría bien esa estructura de los castillos pero seria mas emocionante que renovaran las chozas de las bruja asiéndolas un poco mas grande, menos aburrida y llena de objetos
Sería una gran mecánica para el juego. Los jugadores que aman explorar les encantarán este cambio. Solo piensenlo, tardas un gran rato intentando escalar una montaña con la nieve movediza y las cabras. Un acto muy peligroso. Y como recompensa, llegas a un castillo lleno de moobs como por ejemplo los esperados ice ologer y algunos otros. Como muestra de riesgo y de valor, podrás encontrar cofres con manzanas de oro, Esmeraldas o incluso diamantes. Simplemente un muy buen cambio 😎🤝😎
This is would give the mountains some much needed content, and fill in some of the space there. Truly giving it and incentive to go there other than goats and powder snow. Imagine finding a mega mountain, with an abandoned castle on top, in ruins. Mountains would finally have their own cool exclusive structure for themselves, and would in general make them even more awesome.
