Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

    As long as these cotton can be crafted into string, it sounds like a very cool idea.  Even if it’s just an alternate source of wool and a new plant to make the environment more interesting, it sounds like a good addition.

    But I agree that your argument that it is needed because there is no way to farm wool is a little funny. X3. They’re called sheep and you shear them.

    @ClayGoddessSari

    I looked at the Minecraft Wiki and it doesn't mention how to convert wool blocks into string blocks. It would be interesting for wool blocks to be converted into string blocks. In real life wool needs to go through a mill to be converted into yarn. I think it should remain as wool blocks, and the ability to convert wool into string should be added. If you don't like my original suggestion feel free to write one that's similar to mine that includes that it should drop string instead.

    You said they drop a cotton item, not wool.  Why can’t this new item also be craftable into string?

    AgrarianSet5977, here's my take: you've got some potential for interesting ideas here, but what you want is not clear. I recommend that you sit down and think for a while about the relationships you want to see between cotton, spider string, string blocks, and wool blocks. Be specific. Then come back and rewrite your original post. Also, please discuss more about how your ideas would add to the game. If you do this, I will consider giving my vote, because as I said, there is good potential here.
