Emerald armor & weapons (was: Emerald Weapons)

I think it would be cool if there was emerald weapons and armor. Its weapon strength should be in the middle of wood and gold. Its armor protection should be in the middle of leather and gold.

    given how easy it is to get emeralds from villagers i think the idea of emerald equipment would be way too powerful.

    Players cann't to hide this easy, and emerald armor won't be use. But curious players(me) want to have this armor! It is will be cool.(sorry, if i have mistakes in this text)

    I think adding furniture would make Minecraft more cool. It should be made out of iron and some glass

    Emeralds are the rarest thing though!, better than diamond items with protection 4!

    Okay so basically you want armor made out of money? And come to think of it, Gold is pretty trash for armor protection. Why not between chainmail and iron instead?

    Please add emerald tools to Minecraft this would be awesome and unique because there is nothing stronger then diamond and no wepons tools or armor that’s green and emeralds don’t have many uses your plan was to add ruby tools at one time but you added emeralds so why no emerald tools?

    It could have some enchantment on the armor that gives you luck or better deals with villagers

    I agree because I love emeralds and I love the color green and i also agree that the armor and weapons and tools should be stronger than diamonds and that they should have different blocks.

    It should be much better quality considering it's a gemstone, like diamonds. I think it should be somewhere around diamond quality. Certainly not in between wood/leather and gold.

    I personally think that yes, these values could be the final stats, but they really need something that makes them stick out. 

     

    Perhaps make the emerald armor very enchantable like gold armor? Heck, even make it more enchantable than gold armor. If that was the case, emerald armor would most likely be very useful for people who do not have a very strong enchantment table.

    Mending could also be extra effective, especially when receiving XP gained from villager trades.

    So, this is kinda related but not, but I was thinking about multiple different types of gems in Minecraft, each one having its own equipment set. The different sets of armor would give you different status effects as long as you wore the entire set, say diamond armor gives Strength, and emerald armor would give Luck (a way to get Luck in survival mode!)

    Only thing I don't agree with is the amount of armor protection and weapon damage, because emeralds are so rare, (only found in extreme bill biomes), should have more protection and damage.

    I would suggest that before there are new armours added to the game there should be a reason to use gold, leather and chain armour.

    So basically only existing for consistency sake? (Which I am almost sure is the only reason gold was craftable into armor) I'm far from agenst that idea, but the armor should have some use, maybe villagers would give you better traids if your wearing a full set?
