Depth of Field When zeroed in on a specific block or entity with your crosshair, depth-of-field effect kicks in—drawing your eye to the area of focus while gently softening the surroundings and making the foreground details strikingly clear. At the same time, the background recedes into a subtle haze. (along with a slider to adjust or remove this)
Dynamic Shadows and Sun Flare: When a light source is close to a block, the resulting pixel shadows are noticeably darker, giving depth and form to the landscape. Conversely, shadows appear lighter and more diffuse when the light falls from a more distant source. Currently, all shadows have the same light value intensity.
In addition, when you look directly at the sun, the game produces pixel sun flares—a visual burst that simulates the brightness and glare of a real sun. This flare for the sun and maybe also the End storms could be a cool aesthetic and reinforces the sun's affect.
Volumetric Fog for more Biomes. More volumetric fog is dynamically present in each biome, making it more atmospheric.
For example, in lush caves, an intense vegetable-green fog, Cold regions, fog turns into a freezing, white, while the pale garden is draped in a ghostly, pale haze, and on the other hand, Swamp biomes feature low-lying, denser fog and impart a mysterious, murky ambience. The End has a more Twilight purple to improve overall visibility before the End flashes
