Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Butterfly Bush

Just like there's a firefly bush, there should be a butterfly bush too! They'll

  • Spawn in forest biomes, mostly flower forests
  • Come in different colors (and a multi-color version)
  • Summon "butterfly particles" which are all different types of butterflies!

By adding butterfly bushes to the game, Minecraft would feel a lot more lively!

    I second this! The firefly bush is AMAZING and we definitely could use a companion for flower biomes! What if the color/type varies based on the biome? Maybe moths in places like the pale woods or swamps? Dragonflies in river biomes! The possibilities are endless!

    Came up with this idea and went to post it, and then saw this thread. They would be a perfect day-time equivalent of firefly bushes. When the fireflies go away when the sun comes up, the butterflies would then come out.
