Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Spikes and Spike Blocks

Spikes can be crafted with an iron ingot and 2 iron nuggets on top of it. It damages you when you go through it like a berry bush, but it does not impair your movement. It can be placed on any surface of any solid block, like an end rod, only it breaks when whatever it’s attached to breaks. Spike blocks are gravity affected blocks that behaves like an anvil. It damages whatever touches it like spikes, and does big damage to anything it hits while it’s falling. It’s crafted with an iron block surrounded by 4 spikes

    Maybe you craft a spike block with chains and a stick to make a Flail. It's range is slightly larger than normal, it does significant nock back, and it can be enchanted with Breach. Or, instead of enchanting it with Breach, it does extra damage to armor.
