New Forest Biome: Maple Forest
Maple Forest Biomes are filled with Maple Trees, which have red leaves. Maple trees can be 'tapped' with a bucket. After a certain amount of time, the bucket will be filled with maple sap, which can be collected. If a sap bucket is cooked twice in a furnace (because it takes a long time in real life for sap to boil down to syrup), it becomes maple syrup. If maple syrup is cooked in a furnace again, it turns into sugar. One maple syrup bucket, one sugar, and two wheat can be crafted into pancakes, which can be eaten and restores 4 health points. Maple syrup can also be placed like water, and will slow down entities.
There are two mobs that spawn only in Maple Forests: the Beaver and the Moose. Moose are neutral mobs that attack by ducking their heads, pointing their antlers, and charging, and they drop 0-2 leather and 0-2 antlers, which is crafted into bonemeal. Beavers are passive mobs that spawn by rivers, and they drop 0-2 sticks and 0-1 maple wood. The rivers also have beaver dams, which are basically wooden 'bridges', and more rarely, beaver lodges which are small wooden structures with a room inside containing a chest with fish, wood-related items, and items that are normally obtainable by fishing, such as saddles, books, and name tags. Beavers can be led and bred with raw fish. A baby beaver, once it grows up, will dive into rivers, come back up, and drop any item that is obtainable by fishing, with a better chance of dropping a rarer item.
