In the 1.9 Minecraft version update, a new block “grass path,” was added in Minecraft, after it was renamed as “dirt path” in 1.17, and it also had an upgraded texture in the 1.18 update.
Since the 1.9 Minecraft version, this block was beloved by Minecraft players, and used in various builds, and Redstone contraptions. Dirt path enriched Minecraft world with more colors and possibilities.
So that’s why I am suggesting adding more variations of “path blocks” to Minecraft soil blocks, more specifically: sand, red sand, and gravel.
Adding “sand path”, “red sand path” and “gravel path” blocks will expand players possibilities in building wonderful Minecraft creations, for example: sand path block could be used building desert and badlands villages or other related buildings; gravel path would be excellent for graveyard and ruins; also worth mentioning it’s special usage of being 15/16 size of normal block.
Thus, need to mention that it will be a little harder to create a good looking and convincing texture, since making sand and gravel paths is not the same as making a dirt path in the real world. Dirt paths made by shoveling grass out, but sand and gravel paths are made using pressure.
In conclusion, sand and gravel path blocks would be a great addition to a creative Minecraft world.
