Desert Decorations

The Desert is very barren. I understand that's kind of the point, but in real life, deserts have all sorts of plant-life. So, you should add some of them. For example, the California Poppy, an orange flower native to the desert, which could be the first flower placed on a block other than dirt. Also Ironwood Trees, Oases, Ocotillos, etc. Even things from the biome vote, like Palm Trees, and Meerkats. Sort of related to this point, there are too many rivers in the biome. Getting rid of these rivers, would not only give desert wells a use, but would make the deserts more desert-like. On top of all these points, only having two decoration items in a biome feels boring. So, that is my submission. I hope you enjoyed it, and goodbye.

    Agreed. Deserts are supposed to be barren, unsurvivable landscapes that are only worth visiting for the loot from the structures. But said structures are uncommon enough that deserts are kind of just large sections of the map that people avoid.

    They added some stuff in spring to life update, though I think some people like the challenge of desert survival so adding trees and stuff would make them basically sandy versions of plains.
