Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

    I just agree with this. Yeah, customizing minecart accessibility is cool and all, but Mojang is missing the thing we all actually want. For minecarts to be useful to non-tech players. Making them faster is well, that. If you look at JetStarFish's video on Minecraft exploration, (I actually disagree with this video almost entirely) he mentioned adding faster rail options to make minecarts... faster, by making the regular recipe for powered rails with copper (making it cheaper and giving a use what is basically only a decorational block) and making, new, faster ones, with the old recipe.

    Let me just tell you this right now. No one is going to be upset if you just make minecarts a tiny bit faster. No one is going to complain. Just change one line of code, and the entire community will be happy.

    i don't think that adding a rocket to Minecraft is reasonable, this game is for surviving nature, and adding rockets would ruin the whole purpose of Minecraft. Why not just use a material that is already in Minecraft to make Minecarts faster? We could do this by putting more redstone next to the tracks, we could even add a feature that can allow us to upgrade torches by right clicking with redstone.
