Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Leaf litter blocks

I would love if the new leaf litter block could be crafted into a fallen leaves block that could act as a block like powdered snow that you can sink into but will also at least partially negate fall damage! It could even work like snow layers where once enough leaf litter has piled up in one spot, it forms a block that can be jumped into or landed in to negate fall damage!

    Maybe you naturally stand atop it, but if you shift it sends you down, like scaffolding! And  then you can only jump up if there's air above so it's not a scaffolding replacement!

    Yes please, even if the leaf little block is destroyed or scattered, it would be worth it.

     

    Also add rakes as a tool that will let you push leaf litter around and eventually blocks.

    It could also act as a camouflage block that lets players partially hide inside it. It could also hide dropped items, entrances, or name tags.

    This would:
    • give Leaf Litter a real use
    • reuse an existing Minecraft-style mechanic
    • add an early-game stealth option
    • create new possibilities for traps, hidden bases, and secret storage

    leaf litter should not only be like the 4 in one block flowers but also craft into a pile of leaf litter block that works like snow layers.

    maybe it disperses when you walk into it.
    like in real life when you walk into a pile of leaves it falls to the sides.
