Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Resin + Brew Stand = Varnish

Adding a resin clump to a brew stand could produce varnish. This bottle could then be applied to (up to 1 stack) wood blocks to increase durability and make them immune to blast effects (i.e. creeper, tnt, etc.). The block would not necessarily have to visually change, but there would be an indicator on the block that it has this boon applied.

    they could make them "glossy" like real wood after varnish is applied
